USDOT notified Congress Friday in an electronic mail seen by Reuters that its preliminary investigation of the info breach has “remoted the breach to sure programs on the division used for administrative capabilities, resembling worker transit advantages processing.”
USDOT mentioned in a press release to Reuters the breach didn’t have an effect on any transportation security programs. It didn’t say who is perhaps liable for the hack.
