MediaTek, Xiaomi, iQoo, and others postpone major launches

Product launch events scheduled for today and tomorrow, i.e., December 1 and 2, have been postponed by Huawei, MediaTek, Xiaomi, and iQoo.

This information comes following Jiang Zemin’s death as the Chinese Communist Party’s former General Secretary. As a result, each of the aforementioned businesses has posted a mournful black page on their websites.

Through their Weibo accounts, Xiaomi, iQoo, MediaTek, and Huawei have all mentioned that they will soon release a new list of launch dates. Their products are expected to be available later this week.
Xiaomi should send off the Xiaomi 13 series, MIUI 14 alongside a few different frill on December 1.

The company stated on Weibo: Dear friends and users: We regret to inform you that the Mi 13 series launch will be delayed. When the new release date is confirmed, we will notify you.I appreciate your understanding and assistance.

The Dimensity 8200 chip from MediaTek was supposed to go on sale on December 1.

The iQoo Neo 7 SE and the iQoo 11 series were intended to be released by iQoo. On December 2, the iQoo 11 and iQoo Neo 7 SE are also scheduled to go on sale in Malaysia. It’s possible that the event will be pushed back as well. Additionally, 120W fast charging and a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip are anticipated features of the iQoo Neo 7 SE.

Lastly, on December 2, Huawei was scheduled to introduce the Nova 10 SE, Watch Buds, and a number of other products.
