When they first came out a few years ago, Nokia Android smartphones were meant to be popular and one of the best-selling products. Along with quick Android updates, the company relied on its stock Android promise. And it was successful in meeting those promises, at least for a few years. But as the company struggled with the pandemic in 2020, things started to change.
The company now claims that certain Nokia phones will receive the Android 13 update in the coming months. The phones’ specifics were obtained from Google’s Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) list. Therefore, the Android 13 update ought to be available very soon for users of these eligible Nokia phones.

List:
- Nokia X10 5G
- Nokia X20 5G
- Nokia XR20 5G
- Nokia X30 5G
- Nokia G11 Plus
- Nokia G50 5G
- Nokia G60 5G
As the list below demonstrates, Nokia is not focusing solely on Android 13 for high-end devices. The Nokia G series getting Android 13 is a good sign. According to the guidelines of the company (AER list), these phones should get the new version within 90 days of Google releasing it.
Since its debut at the Google I/O 2022 keynote this year, Android 13 has been around. Since then, Google has released this version with the Pixel 7 series and updated eligible Pixel phones, such as the Pixel 6A. Xiaomi is expected to announce the MIUI 14 version based on Android 13 this week, while OnePlus and Samsung have already updated their models to use the new Android flavor.
