In order to make its 5G smartphones compatible with the standalone (SA) 5G network, Oppo is rolling out software updates. For a better 5G experience on Jio’s 5G SA network, the Chinese manufacturer has collaborated with Reliance Jio to provide high-speed internet, reliability, and minimal latency. The available Jio 5G network can now be used by OPPO Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and others in eight cities, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Varanasi, and Nathdwara.

Oppo is distributing the software update for all of its Reno, F, and K Series 5G smartphones. The following is a list of Oppo devices that are compatible with the standalone (SA) Jio 5G network:
- Oppo Reno 8
- Oppo Reno 8 Pro
- Oppo Reno 7
- Oppo F21 Pro 5G
- Oppo F19 Pro+
- Oppo K10
- Oppo A53s
The upgraded devices for the SA network are now prepared to connect to the Jio 5G network that is currently available. By November 2022, Oppo will have released updates for the remaining 5G devices, which is significant.
